To say the NFL Week 2 preseason slate for Saturday is loaded would be an understatement.

There are 11 games on the schedule and all eyes will likely be on exciting young quarterbacks — Anthony Richardson, C.J. Stroud, Jordan Love, Trevor Lawrence and more — as they try to build positive momentum before the regular season. Bills quarterback Josh Allen will also be in action for his first — and possibly lone — preseason appearance.

Action Network’s NFL experts have two best bets for Bills vs. Steelers and Buccaneers vs. Jets. Check out their picks and odds breakdowns below.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott is calling this week’s preseason game a “dress rehearsal” for the regular season, stating the starters will play about a quarter and a half against the Steelers.

It’s hard to bet against that, don’t you think? Well, at least it is for the first half when the starters are playing.

However, Pittsburgh’s regulars will suit up as well after impressing a week ago in its preseason opener. The starting offense got one series and steamrolled Tampa Bay’s defense, authoring a 10-play, 83-yard touchdown drive. Meanwhile, the defense forced a pair of punts to start the game.

Still, Buffalo figures to once again rank among the NFL’s elites this season, and while the Steelers should be an improved squad, they aren’t in the Bills’ stratosphere.

This is the first – and probably only – time Buffalo’s starters will see the field before the regular season, so I’m banking on them wanting to make a statement.

Pick: Bills 1H -0.5 (DraftKings)

According to Jets head coach Robert Saleh, Aaron Rodgers won’t be on the field against the Bucs. Last week, Zach Wilson played the first half against the Panthers before Tim Boyle took over in the second half – we should expect the same here.

Wilson and Boyle looked good in that blowout win over the Panthers as each logged at least one touchdown pass.

Meanwhile, the Bucs lost their preseason opener with John Wolford getting the most action, followed by Kyle Trask and Baker Mayfield.

I think Mayfield is Tampa Bay’s QB1 and I expect to see less of him this week. Given that he went 8-for-9 for 63 yards and a touchdown last week, Mayfield's absence hurts the Bucs’ cause against the Jets.

Back the Jets at -3.5 – they're the better team, with far better depth on offense.
