O'Connor-Watts was the managing, online, and copy editor for Diablo Valley College's The Inquirer student newspaper, where he also worked the football beat. He received his BA in English Literature at San Francisco State University.
Experience
Five years ago, O'Connor-Watts heard about Bob Voulgaris betting his life savings on the Lakers to win the championship in the 1999-2000 season. Right then and there, he decided he wanted to bet (much smaller amounts) on the NBA. He made spreadsheets, game projections, and betting systems via Action Labs. He read books on NBA analytics and studied the sports betting market, joining sports betting discord communities and immersing himself in the world of basketball, sports betting, and NBA fantasy.
