Charlie Wright

Charlie provides written content for MLB, NFL and the NBA on The Action Network, RotoGrinders and ScoresAndOdds. He entered the DFS/sports betting industry in 2019 as a writer and editor for Fantasy Insiders, which led to a job at RotoGrinders. Before landing the gig with FI, he worked for multiple print newspapers in southern Maryland.

Charlie's official title is subscription marketing manager for RotoGrinders, ScoresAndOdds and FantasyLabs. He came to RotoGrinders after several years in print media, writing and reporting about high school sports. Charlie has functioned as the Ben Zobrist of the company since he was hired, filling roles wherever needed. His writing background has led to numerous content opportunities and he's written articles for just about every brand under the Better Collective North America umbrella. Charlie's career almost never happened after he was duped by a fake Carlos Hyde tweet while working on the DFS alerts team.

Charlie graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in print journalism and philosophy. He worked at The Diamondback when he could find time between intramural games. Charlie interned at his hometown newspaper, the Maryland Independent, while in college. He accepted a full-time job there upon graduation.
