Prior to joining the Action Network's MLB team in 2026, Matt previously spent a decade at Rotogrinders as an MLB contributor, among various other duties. He also created FreeelanceBBall.com in 2024, where he's covered baseball for the last two years. 

Experience

During his time at Rotogrinders Matt wrote their advanced pitching stats articles and headed up MLB news alerts. He also wrote one of their first sports betting articles (From DFS to DraftKings Sportsbook) in 2018 before branching out on his own with FreelanceBBall.com in 2024. 

Education

Matt graduated from St. John's University with a degree in Sports Management.
