Tigers vs Astros MLB Betting Preview

Kai-Wei Teng is on the mound for the Astros, and I'm kind of interested because he's got a little something to him. He's not been great overall and got smashed by the Angels in his last start.
But all I'm expecting of him tonight is outs recorded. I think he can give Houston a bit of length, as the line is 14.5 outs.
Teng only went four innings in his last start, but since he joined the rotation, his other four outings were of five, five, six and five innings.
And then there was his first start, when he only went three because he wasn't fully stretched out.
We're seeing Teng increase his pitch count, and he's got the stamina to go deep in games. He just wasn't fully stretched out because he was pitching as a reliever for the first month and a half of the season.
The last time out, he threw 93 pitches, which was a season high. Before that, he threw 87, 91 and 89 pitches.
Also, he'll be facing Detroit, and this Tigers offense continues to scuffle.
Tigers vs Astros Pick, Betting Analysis
The roof is probably going to be closed in Houston today, so that should help suppress offense a little bit.
I do expect Teng to give us a little bit of length. All we need is five innings out of him. He doesn't need to pitch spectacularly.
But I think this line is an out too low. At 15.5, it would be a pass, but at 14.5, and even at this juice, I like it.
So, Over 14.5 outs for Teng is my pick.
