The Chicago Cubs head into tonight’s matchup at PNC Park desperate to snap a frustrating nine-game losing streak.

Following a narrow 2-1 defeat to the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday, Chicago will hand the ball to left-hander Jordan Wicks in search of a much-needed victory to right the ship.

On the other side, the Pirates look to build momentum behind righty Braxton Ashcraft, who enters the contest with a 3-2 record on the season.

Pittsburgh's offense will rely on the hot bat of Henry Davis, whose dramatic seventh-inning solo home run secured yesterday's series-opening win.

Meanwhile, the slumping Cubs offense will look for more production outside of Michael Busch, who provided their lone run in yesterday's contest.

Updated MLB odds list Pittsburgh as a short -130 favorite against Chicago and an over/under of 8, but it's the player prop market offering the most value for this game.

Specifically, Action PRO has keyed in on Wicks' strikeouts over/under as the largest betting model edge of Tuesday's entire MLB slate.

Here's the Cubs vs. Pirates prediction for bettors to know.
