It looks like the Yankees are rolling with a bullpen game in this one, although I can't say who will open.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. The Rays won't get a good look at any one arm, and New York's bullpen is rested and has performed well this season, ranking sixth among MLB teams in reliever fWAR (3.5).
Meanwhile, the Yankees will have to face Drew Rasmussen again, and that hasn't gone well for them before.
Rasmussen has been uber-consistent since joining Tampa's rotation, posting a 2.77 ERA and 3.54 xFIP with an 18% K-BB rate. He's got a great combination of stuff (108 Stuff+), command (105 Location+), and weak-contact stuff (34% hard-hit rate).
Yankees vs Rays MLB Pick to Bet
New York's offense has been a shell of its former self without Aaron Judge.
Although I don't think the Rays have a much better lineup, given Zerillo projects them at 97 wRC+.
I also like the Rays bullpen, which I think has been underrated by the season-long stats — I'd project this as a top-10 bullpen.
All in all, I think we're in for a very low-scoring ballgame.
