Twins vs Royals Prediction, Betting Analysis

The Minnesota Twins and Kansas City Royals will meet in an AL Central matchup on Wednesday night, with both teams aiming to set the tone early in the season.

Minnesota is 3-8 and will be fighting to avoid a series sweep at the hands of its division rivals. Veteran outfielder Harrison Bader has been a bright spot for the Twins, leading the team with three home runs and 10 RBIs.

Taking the mound for Minnesota will be 28-year-old Joe Ryan (0-1, 4.50 ERA).

On the other side, Kansas City is 6-5 and looking to extend its winning streak to four games. Maikel Garcia has been a steady presence in the lineup, hitting .306 with a pair of homers.

Veteran Seth Lugo gets the start for Kansas City. Lugo is 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA this season.

Twins vs Royals Parlay Predictions

Leg 1: Twins Moneyline

The Twins are poised for a bounce-back win on the road. Ryan has dominated the Royals throughout his career, holding Kansas City to a collective .177 batting average over 113 at-bats. After a pair of sluggish offensive outings, look for Minnesota’s lineup to get rolling and deliver a much-needed win.

Leg 2: Willi Castro 1+ Hit

Castro finds himself in a favorable matchup. The veteran has encouraging career numbers against Lugo, batting .500 over eight at-bats. With that level of past success, there’s plenty of reason to trust that Castro will continue his strong performance against Lugo and the Royals.

Leg 3: Bobby Witt Jr 2+ Bases

There’s strong value in backing Bobby Witt Jr. to exceed this prop tonight. One of baseball’s most dynamic young talents, Witt has the ability to clear this number in a single at-bat thanks to his speed and power. He also has two career extra-base hits against Joe Ryan.
