Last night, Jose Ramirez hit his 26th home run of the season. He is closing in on his second consecutive season with 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases. He has hit 21 of his home runs against right-handed pitching this season. This afternoon, he may launch another against Brandon Pfaadt.

Wins have become a devalued statistic, and Pfaadt's season is an example of why. Though he is 12-8, he sports a 5.08 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and .281 opposing batting average. He has allowed 34 extra-base hits, including 12 home runs, as well as an .814 OPS to left-handed hitters.
Ramirez is not one to light up StatCast's numbers in terms of average exit velocity or hard-hit rate. However, Pfaadt has allowed a 12% barrel rate this season, which will give him a chance to barrel one up. He is +400 on BetMGM and DraftKings to leave the yard today. If he does, he will also collect two total bases.

Yankees vs Rays Player Props: Stanton Power Surge Continues

Giancarlo Stanton has an MVP on his resume along with 443 home runs. Yet, you could make the case that he is in the middle of his best regular season stretch as a Yankee. Over his last 29 games, he is hitting .359 with 13 home runs and 32 runs batted in. Two of those home runs came last night as the Yankees mashed nine home runs for the second time this season.

The Rays will send Drew Rasmussen to the mound to cool off the Yankees' bats. Rasmussen has been very formidable this season with a 2.60 ERA and one earned run allowed in his last 17 and 1/3 innings. However, Stanton singled off him in his last start against the Yankees last month and he is 2-for-4 against him overall.
Two singles would do the trick tonight, although Stanton has been hitting for more power. He has two hits in three of his last four games with four home runs and a double in that span. He is +310 for two hits on DraftKings and +350 for a home run on BetMGM tonight.

In August, Noelvi Marte is hitting .344 with three home runs and 11 RBI. He enters tonight's game riding a 10-game hitting streak during which he has 19 hits. He has recorded two hits in each of his last four games after he had a double and a home run last night.

The Reds will go for the sweep tonight and the Angels will counter with Yusei Kikuchi. Marte is hitting .250 against left-handed pitchers, but he should have the advantage in this matchup. Kikuchi has allowed just seven extra-base hits to left-handed hitters. However, he has given up 35 extra-base hits (18 home runs) and a .774 OPS to right-handed hitters.

During his hitting streak, Marte has six doubles and three home runs. That has allowed him to clear this line in seven of his last 10 games while averaging 3.4 total bases per game. We'll take two from him tonight to cash at plus odds. He is +240 for two hits on DraftKings tonight.
