The Purdue Boilermakers suffered just their second loss of the season on Saturday at the hands of Indiana, but now they get to return home in hopes of starting another winning streak.

Standing in their way will be the Iowa Hawkeyes. Fran McCaffery's club has been streaky this season, but the Hawkeyes are hot entering this matchup, winning three straight.

Will the Hawkeyes keep the ball rolling, or will the Boilermakers get back on track? Let's dive into this one to find out the best bet for this matchup.

Iowa Hawkeyes

This game has all the makings of a barnburner, as the top two offenses in terms of efficiency will go against one another.

For the Hawkeyes, one big reason they are ranked that high is the play of Kris Murray.

Kris, much like his older brother Keegan did last year, has stuffed the stat sheet. He enters this matchup averaging 20.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, but may also be Iowa's only hope of hanging around in this game.

However, the Boilermakers' defense presents a unique challenge. Looking at the ratings, Iowa appears to have a slight edge around the rim, but that comes with the presence of Zach Edey lurking.

Iowa's best chance of success is to create opportunities in the mid-range, as it's not a team that will attempt many 3-pointers. Purdue has allowed its opposition to shoot 60% on close 2s and 37% on farther 2s.

Purdue Boilermakers

Looking at Purdue's loss on Saturday, it did not have a bad offensive performance by any stretch.

Instead, the Boilermakers' downfall came from turnovers and poor interior defense.

They should have plenty of success against this Iowa team, as they have the advantage at all three levels. Plus, turnovers are not a concern.

The Hawkeyes have been unable to force misses, as they are 219th in effective field goal percentage allowed.

That number may look even worse in this one, as they don't have anyone who can match up with Edey. Purdue's big man is the most dominant force in college basketball and enters this matchup fourth in the nation in scoring and second in rebounding.

Edey should lead the Boilermakers with a big performance, as he is not only very efficient shooting, but he will also be dominant on the glass.

Iowa is 204th in defensive rebounding and 255th in second-chance put-backs allowed.

If we are ever going to get a spot to buy low on Purdue, it's here. The Boilers are back home off a loss against a team that presents a challenge on paper.

However, the market is giving the Hawkeyes too much love at open as KenPom and Bart Torvik have Purdue as double-digit favorites for this matchup.

Back the Boilermakers to get back on track in a big way.
