We have another glorious slate of college hoops on tap for Saturday. This matchup is a crucial one in the ACC as the Miami Hurricanes have the chance to pull even atop the conference.

Standing in their way will be the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Wake comes into this matchup on a bit of a heater, having won each of its last three games.

If we're talking about winning streaks, though, we can't pass by the Hurricanes, as they have won five straight entering today.

So, which streak will stay alive?

Let's dive in to find out and uncover the best bet for this matchup.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons

The Demon Deacons are a team that's not afraid to pull up long range, as they are 48th in 3-point attempts-to-field goal attempt ratio. It certainly helps when you have a shooter of the caliber of Damari Monsanto to take those attempts.

Monsanto is second on the team in scoring and is shooting over 40% from beyond the arc. However, the Demon Deacons' jump shooting has been solid when they take a few steps in, as well.

Monsanto and forward Andrew Carr have been solid from mid-range, as they are both shooting 42.3% from that area on the season.

We'd be amiss if we did not mention Tyree Appleby.

The Florida transfer has come over and become the leader of this team. Unlike his teammates, he's not efficient from one area, but his volume and ability to get to the stripe are what make up for it.

The Demon Deacons will need contributions from everyone to pull off this upset, but they have edges inside the arc. Expect Wake to excel inside and perhaps get the Hurricanes in more foul trouble than they are used to.

Miami Hurricanes

Miami's ascension from a Cinderella story last March to an offensive juggernaut has been exciting to watch.

It's a team that will attack with its flurry of athletic guards, who all have the capability to score from all three levels of the court.

Wake Forest hasn't been a great defensive team and is particularly weak in the paint. As a result, it has allowed its opponents to convert 61% of their attempts on close-range 2-pointers.

It should come as no surprise that the team ranked ninth in offensive efficiency excels at converting high-percentage shots. In fact, the Hurricanes are one of the premier teams from that area, as they have shot nearly 65% from that area.

If the Hurricanes can get inside continuously, it's going to be a long night for the Demon Deacons, but Miami should have success from all three levels.

Wake Forest vs Miami Betting Pick

This is an excellent matchup for the Hurricanes here, and that means we should see a boatload of points from them.

However, the Demon Deacons have been playing some of their best ball of late and will not go down without a fight.

I'm not looking to get cute on the spread with this matchup, as these two teams will likely trade runs. So, I'm going to endorse offense from both side and take the over here.
