Auburn will attempt to bounce back from a 5-7 season in 2024, and head coach Hugh Freeze will look to deliver the Tigers their first winning season since 2020.
Baylor bounced back last season with a record of 8-5, the Bears’ first winning season since 2021.
I believe the pace of this contest will favor the Under.
Jackson Arnold takes over under center for Auburn. Arnold struggled last season, and I do not expect him to light things up in his Auburn debut. The Tigers should lean on their rushing game, which will bode well for the Under.
Additionally, Auburn improved its defense by adding portal talent in the off-season.
Similar to Auburn, I expect Baylor to be run-heavy in this matchup.
