Ohio State Player Prop: Emeka Egbuka Anytime TD Scorer

The Ohio State Buckeyes are heavy favorites in this matchup and expected to get off to a fast start. They are -6.5 in the first quarter and -11 in the first half.

They run the ball nearly 54% of the time, but getting their rushing attack going early will be no easy task as Michigan is ninth in yards per rush allowed.

However, the Wolverines are more susceptible through the air, ranking 72nd in opponent completion percentage and 65th in passing yards allowed per game.

The Buckeyes have no problem putting the offense on the arm of Will Howard and he is -220 to throw two passing touchdowns. One of his most likely recipients is wide receiver Emeka Egbuka.

Egbuka has scored in seven of his 11 games and has seen at least two red-zone targets in five of those games. Given the early approach, we should see Egbuka find the end zone in this matchup.

Ohio State Player Prop: Will Howard Under 27.5 Passing Attempts

We should see an uptick in Ohio State’s passing in the first half. If that leads to a big early lead, the Buckeyes will begin to run the ball in the second half and shorten the game.

This game script has been the trend for Howard, who had 27 or fewer pass attempts in eight of 11 games. Even with potential success in the first half, Ohio State’s running back duo will be relied on, and more success will be seen as the game goes along.

It all points to Howard staying this total again.

Michigan Player Prop: Davis Warren Over 133.5 Yards Passing

We can now play our parlay back onto the Michigan side of things. With a trailing game script, the Wolverines will need to throw the ball to keep up with the Buckeyes.

Davis Warren has gained more trust from the coaching staff over the past three weeks as he’s had at least 23 pass attempts in each game. Last week, he set a season-high with 35. That volume has led to him hitting this over in three straight games.
