Caesars Entertainment has officially launched its latest proprietary iGaming platform, Horseshoe Online Casino, in New Jersey this week.

“The Horseshoe brand is anchored by a promise to put the player first,” says Matt Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital. "This launch reinforces our multi-brand online casino strategy by seamlessly bringing another one of our world-class Caesars brands into the palms of players’ hands.”

Caesars hopes to deliver the Horseshoe Las Vegas experience straight from the Las Vegas Strip to users' mobile devices.

Horseshoe Online Casino Now in Five North American Locations

The launch of the Horseshoe Online Casino in New Jersey marks the fifth jurisdiction in North America where the platform is available. It will now sit alongside Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ontario.

Last month, the platform replaced Wynnbet in Michigan, which Caesars Entertainment bought. Early reports indicate the app is doing well.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board reported a new record for the state's online casino operators, who generated nearly $221 million in gross receipts. This surpasses the previous record of $215.2 million set in March. Additionally, after promotional deductions, they almost reached $199 million in adjusted gross receipts, breaking March's record.

The 15 iCasino operators in Michigan contributed $41.5 million in internet gaming taxes to the state for the month.

Online Gambling Revenue in Ontario Continues to Head North

And in Ontario, online gaming is becoming a big business.  Just look at the second quarter numbers from the online casino front.

According to iGaming Ontario, total bets placed reached roughly $12 billion, with gaming revenue climbing to around $553 million, marking a 35.4% increase compared to the same period in 2023. The casino gaming category in Ontario includes:

  • Slots
  • Live and digital table games
  • Peer-to-peer bingo

The total amount wagered rose by nearly 2% compared to the first quarter of 2024, while revenue increased significantly from $305 million in Q2 2023 to $414 million this year.

The average player spend across all categories was about $231 million, with 1.32 million active play accounts recorded during the quarter. Casino gaming accounted for 86% of all bets and 75% of total revenue.

New Horseshoe Casino Games Featured With Old Favorites

The new Horseshoe online gaming platform features games that were specially made for Horseshoe, including:

  • Horseshoe Rising Rewards
  • Horseshoe 3 Coin Cowboy
  • Horseshoe Slick Riches LuckyTap

These games join a big collection of favorites that you'll also find at Caesar's casinos.

Players at Horseshoe Online Casino in the U.S. earn Caesars Rewards Credits as they play. These credits can be redeemed at any of Caesars' destinations across North America.
