Betting on an NFL parlay via Anytime Touchdown Scorers is incredibly fun, even if they’re mostly a losing proposition that will drain your bankroll if you’re not careful. Most sportsbooks tend to clean up on this type of bet, so how do we scratch the “parlay itch” without overextending ourselves financially?
Allow me to introduce “The 180 Challenge.” Here’s how it works.
Every week, I'll be betting a three-leg NFLanytime TD parlay that equates to +1800 or more. $10 per parlay ticket, $180 total for the season.
The goal is to win as much as possible. But the safety net is you only need to hit one parlay all season to make your money back. If you go 0-for-18 (which is unfortunate), the positive spin is it's only $180.
By doing it this way, we can still be in on the fun with touchdown parlays while managing our bankroll and not going overboard with bad spending habits. We hit our first 22-1 parlay of the season back in Week 6, and then followed that up with a 20-1 winner in Week 10. That means we’re playing with house money the rest of the season!
Disclaimer: 18-1 parlays have less than a 5% chance of hitting, and that percentage only shrinks as you increase the parlay odds. Keep your expectations in check and bet on these for fun.
Continue below for my NFL parlay picks for Week 15.
NFL Parlay Week 15
- Isiah Pacheco Anytime Touchdown (+120)
- CeeDee Lamb Anytime Touchdown (+190)
- DeVonta Smith Anytime Touchdown (+230)
Parlay Odds: +2005 (DraftKings)
NFL Parlay Leg 1: Isiah Pacheco
Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco tallied 14 carries in Kansas City's 19-17 win over the Chargers last week, which is twice as many carries as he received the week prior against the Raiders (seven), as they continue to slowly ramp him back up to full speed following a nine-game injury absence.
The Browns run defense has been surprisingly awful this season, as they've allowed 18 touchdowns on the ground so far this season, which is tied for 29th in the NFL in that department, with eight of those touchdowns coming in the last five games (and five touchdowns scored by the opposing starting RB).
Expect the Chiefs to lean on Pacheco more this week to offset the Browns defensive pressure.
NFL Parlay Leg 2: CeeDee Lamb
Cowboys' wide receiver CeeDee Lamb managed to find the end zone in a 27-20 loss to the Bengals last week, despite seeing only seven targets in the contest, tied for his second-lowest mark of the season.
This week, Lamb draws a favorable matchup against a Panthers' defense that ranks 29th in DVOA against the pass, and they rank bottom-10 against opposing WR1s.
The Panthers also play zone coverage at the 8th-highest rate in the NFL, and Lamb leads the Cowboys in target share when facing zone.
NFL Parlay Leg 3: DeVonta Smith
Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith now has five touchdowns on the season, after catching his fifth of the season in a 22-16 win over the Panthers last week.
Whenever TE Dallas Goedert is sidelined for Philly, Smith tends to see a huge uptick in production. He has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games without Goedert and five of his last seven dating back to last season.
I know everyone will be on A.J. Brown in this spot, but the price tag for Smith is too good to overlook.
