MGM. I’m back on Kremer today, despite him going over last start. He’s actually pieced together two good starts in a row, but is a massive regression candidate after being hit hard. Before his last two starts, Kremer was 12/13 to the under when allowing 35%+ hard hit rate. Last two games: 37% and 53%. Tough matchup vs the Angels who see above average amount of pitches per PA (3.93), and have been hitting righties hard of late (118 wRC+ and .797 OPS over the L2 weeks - both top 5 - and 10th in hard hit% at 35%). Kremer’ shard hit% of 47.7%, xBA of .302 and xERA of 6.92 are all bottom of the barrel amongst MLB starters. Coupled with a below average strike rate (62.6%) - I don’t have him getting past the 5th inning.
