Marcus Semien seems to be coming alive after a brutally slow start to the season, with hits in five straight games — and he has covered this prop in three of his last four games.
This game features a high total of 9, so we should see plenty of offense in this game. With Semien projected to hit fifth, he should find himself in some good run-producing situations.
His numbers against lefties don't jump off the page, but he has hit A's pitcher Jeffrey Springs well in the past, going 6-for-13 with three home runs.
He also really hit four-seam fastballs from lefties well in 2024, posting a strong .414 wOBA along with a .264 ISO. That's good news for Semien in this game because Springs' go-to pitch is his four-seamer.
