Jon Anderson's Rockies vs Brewers Best Bet
By Jon Anderson
Here's my model's projection for Shane Drohan's pitching line in this game:
- Drohan: 6 IP, 5 H, 2.5 ER, 5.8 SO, 1.8 BB
I think there's a reason to take Over 5.5 strikeouts.
Getting to four or five feels like the floor here, and he flashed upside to nine in one of his recent starts.
I really believe in his fastball and slider, so I think he gets to six strikeouts in this matchup.

Pick: Shane Drohan Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-130 or Better)

This game triggered one of our Action PRO Betting Systems, powered by Evan Abrams:
This system targets overs in games that begin in the late afternoon to early evening, in other words, what traders often refer to as "twilight spots."
These games exist in a temperature and lighting window that subtly elevates scoring conditions, particularly when both teams have a documented tendency to hit overs. Combined with home starters who may have below-average WHIPs, this setup identifies an edge before the public fully reacts. By isolating recent season trends and capitalizing on the transitional scoring environment, the model captures a high-expectation scoring spot that may be underpriced due to time-of-day bias or modest pitching projections.
Lifetime, this system has generated a 6% ROI, going 273-221-18 (55%).
Pick: Over 8 (-110 or Better)
Nick Martin's Blue Jays vs Red Sox Best Bet
By Nick Martin
Trey Yesavage has not been in an overly strong stretch of play by any means, but he has still recorded at least 17 outs in six of his last eight starts, including a strong showing at Fenway on June 18th.
Despite their overall level of play recently, the Red Sox have not been overly efficient versus righties and offer a decent matchup for Yesavage to work fairly deep into this game.
Logically, John Schneider should be willing to give Yesavage a fairly long leash in this game unless things really go sideways, and at -115 there looks to be value in backing Yesavage to record at least 17 outs.

Pick: Trey Yesavage Over 16.5 Outs (-130 or Better)

Matt Trollo's Angels vs Giants Best Bet
By Matt Trollo
Grayson Rodriguez has struck out just four of his last 57 batters faced, with a 7.5% swinging-strike rate during the stretch.
He's struck out just 12.4% of left-handed batters this season. I project him to face around 21 batters in this game, and 12 of them should be lefties, including impossible-to-strikeout hitters like Luis Arraez (2.7%), Jung Hoo Lee (8.0%), and Drew Gilbert (13.5%).
Surprisingly, Oracle Park doesn't really boost strikeouts (between -2% and -4% K factor).
