The bit of Walker Kessler chucking 3-pointers seems to be over, which is a shame, but it was a fun ride.
The problem now is, he hasn't been shooting at all. Kessler has taken just 9 shots over Utah's last two games, with one of them being a 3-pointer. That was after a 5-game stretch of averaging 5+ 3-point attempts a night.
Since making these offensive adjustments to his game, Kessler is averaging just 7.6 PPG. He's either hoisting 3s (which he is bad at) or not getting shots up at all. He's cracked double figures just once in the past 8 games. Kessler is averaging 28.5 MPG in March, regularly losing minutes to blowouts.
Denver is a vulnerable defense, but they'll have Aaron Gordon tonight, which is a decent boost. More importantly, the Nuggets are massive 17.5-point favorites.
