This is a very STRONG Wizards spot, which is crazy to say but its simply true. There is no do-not-bet list or banned teams for me, I will back or fade any team, or play any over/under where a line is good. The Wizards are in a favorable spot today and should be a 2 or 3-point favorite at home where they are now a pick'em.

The Wizards have a healthy team right now, and are home vs. a depleted Raptors squad. The race to the bottom, or the tank for Cooper Flagg, does not really apply to the Wizards team who is already so securely at the bottom of the standings they are all but guaranteed a bottom-4 seed and the best chance at the top pick.

Pick: Wizards Moneyline (-120)

After an embarrassing effort ruined LeBron's return to active duty on Saturday, if nothing else, expect a more-focused defensive effort from the Lake Show as they begin a new road trip.

The Bulls were mostly wide open all night Saturday when hitting nearly 60% from the floor and humbling the Lakers by a 146-115 count at Crypto.com Arena, by far LA's worst defensive effort of the season.

While perhaps a cautionary tale about the upcoming playoffs, and no Anthony Davis around any longer as a blockade at the hoop, would at least expect more focus on the stop end tonight in Orlando, especially as LA was dumped at home by the Magic back on November 22.

Orlando has finally started to stir with Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner back in the fold, but the Magic has trended to Under most of the season. Play Lakers-Magic Under.

Pick: Under 216.5 (-110)

Last night, the Nuggets pulled off a huge 116-111 victory over the Rockets. They were able to pull it off without Nikola Jokic and are now a game back off the Rockets for the second seed in the Western Conference. Jokic will return sometime on Denver’s five-game homestand but will be out tonight.

Typically, a team on a back-to-back and missing its superstar is not one you want to target for an Over. However, the Over was 3-1 on Denver’s road trip without Jokic. The Over is 9-5 when Denver is on the second night of a back-to-back and 22-12 for home games overall. However, don’t be surprised if this Over cashing has more to do with the Bulls.

On Saturday night, the Bulls scored 146 points against a previously stingy Lakers defense. They have scored at least 120 points in each of their last three games. The Over is 2-0-1 in the last three meetings between these teams, with 250 points in the first matchup of the season. Both of these teams are top-six in the league in pace, which should provide plenty of opportunities for the Over to cash here.

Pick: Over 238.5 (-110)

The Celtics play their second game in as many days and face off against the Kings tonight.

One player who sat yesterday is Kristaps Porzingis, so he would be rested relative to the rest of the roster. It would not shock me to see Al Horford sit and potentially Tatum. Brown is being reevaluated today, but Boston has no real reason to push him to return quickly.
