Tulane vs. Duke Odds & Betting Predictions - September 5, 2026

Two teams profile similarly. Weaker OL, weaker quarterback play, strong running back, weak DL that should show invitation to run the football. I think we’re going to see the explosiveness on both sides offensively take a dip. I think the strength of both of these defenses are going to be the secondary. I’m not confident Duke is going to profile as well offensively as they did last season. It’s going to be much more methodical and much more deliberate for Duke. Last year’s game saw a flurry of points because tulane had several short fields and duke had a flurry of points at the end. I think this one’s an under. I suspect tulane will struggle offensively, I don’t have a lot of confidence in offensive line play on either side. I think we could see situations where drives stall around midfield and we’re punting back the other way. I’m in on the under here in this one. Half a unit play.
