Arizona vs Iowa State NCAAF Week 5 Pick to Bet

I project the Cyclones as 3.5-point favorites in this matchup, and I have no trust in their program.

Every win looks worse by the day for Matt Campbell and Co. They beat Arkansas State by one possession. They were nearly doubled up in yards per play against Kansas State. They averaged 4.1 yards per play against Iowa. They allowed FCS South Dakota to average nearly six yards per play.

Iowa State’s offense doesn’t look good, now ranking outside the top 100 nationally in EPA per Play and outside the top 85 in Rush Success Rate.

Meanwhile, Arizona is also 4-0, but the Wildcats look the part of an undefeated team.

Defensive coordinator Danny Gonzales has done a great job, as the Wildcats rank in the top 10 nationally in Havoc, Stuff Rate and Finishing Drives.

Noah Fifita is playing well, with zero interceptions or Turnover-Worthy Plays thus far, while slot wideout Javin Whatley is averaging a whopping 3.8 yards per route run.

Additionally, the rush attack looks promising, with Ismail Mahdi leading an offense that ranks in the top 10 nationally in Rush Explosiveness.

Pick: Arizona +6 or Better
