I played this last game and Boyles finished with 4 rebounds over 11 rebound chances in 20 minutes. It's worth noting in that game, the Cavs were without Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell too which may have let CMB see a few more chances than he normally would've seen if Allen were starting. Let's go back to it. This matchup grades out as a neutral matchup with the Grizzlies allowing the 16th most rebounds to opponents, but the Grizzlies have some size by starting Jock Landale and then having Santi Aldama to lead the second unit. Cedric Coward has also been a huge surprise in the second unit, coming off a 10-rebound game and averaging 4.8 rebounds. We've seen Murray-Boyles continue to split center minutes with Sandro Mamukelashvili during the absence of Jakob Poeltl, so it wouldn't surprise me if we continue to see a timeshare here. The Raptors could also go small at times like they did last game with more Jamal Shead, as the CMB/Sandro pairing only accounted for 38 of their center minutes, or they could lean heavier on Sandro if Landale/Aldama are overpowering the Raptors on the glass.
