San Diego State vs. UNLV

Jaedon LeDee

Over 17.5 Points (-110)

Header Trailing Logo

Lee has cleared this in seven of the Aztecs’ last eight games.

San Diego State’s team total tonight is a couple of points lower than its average in conference play, mainly due to UNLV’s slow pace. Nothing about that will be a concern for LeDee, though.

UNLV starting power forward Kalib Boone is dealing with an ankle injury and is questionable, but it sounds like he’s more on the doubtful side. If he’s ruled out or limited in any way, it would make the matchup easier for LeDee.

I’m projecting LeDee’s median closer to 19 points with a 62% chance of going over 17.5 points.

Pick: Jaedon LeDee Over 17.5 Points (-110)

Ohio State vs. Iowa

Tony Perkins

Under 4.5 Assists (-125)

Perkins is capable of racking up a ton of assists. He even had 14 earlier this month against Northwestern. He typically stays under this number, though, and has been 61% of the time in conference play.

This is a matchup that should make it tougher than usual for Perkins to clear this total. Ohio State plays at a pretty slow pace, and Iowa’s team total is about four points lower than its average in Big Ten play. Also, Ohio State allowed an assist per field goal made around 6% lower than the league’s average.

I’m projecting Perkins for closer to 4.1 assists with a 61% chance of staying under 4.5.

Pick: Tony Perkins Under 4.5 Assists (-125)

Villanova vs. Marquette

Kam Jones

Over 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-105)

Header Trailing Logo

Jones' usage rate has predictably gone up over the last three games with star point guard Tyler Kolek out, and the junior guard has cleared this twice in those three games.

This is a matchup against a Villanova defense that sees 45% of the field goal attempts against it come from beyond the arc, which is one of the highest rates in the country. A lot of that has to do with the fact that the Wildcats are tough to score against on the inside.

Also, Villanova sends teams to the free throw line at one of the lowest rates in the country and is a below-average team at generating turnovers. What does that mean? Marquette should have a higher percentage of possessions end in a field goal attempt than usual.

I'm projecting Jones for closer to eight 3-point attempts tonight with about a 60% chance he clears 2.5 makes.

Pick: Kam Jones Over 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-105)
