The Celtics face off against the Utah Jazz in a game they should dominate from start to finish. The Celtics already ruled out Jaylen Brown for this game which should open up more opportunities for Derrick White. White sees his scoring jump from 22.3 points per 100 to 28.9 and the assists increase a touch from 6.3 to 6.6 per 100. The primary difference though is his Usage climbs from 17.2 to 26.1, per pbpstats. That is the second largest swing of the Celtics’ core players (Tatum). Without Brown, White is averaging 23.3 PA on the season, and he still fares well when he plays with Tatum who played in 11 of those 12 games. When the Celtics played the Jazz about a week and a half ago, White racked up 18 points and 10 assists. White’s rotation generally gets him consistent minutes regardless of the score, but when Boston wins, he generally is a bigger contributor.
