Rockets vs. Timberwolves Odds & Betting Predictions - March 26, 2026

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Houston Rockets tonight and this is a spot where I expect Naz Reid to deliver off the bench. Houston ranks as a top-10 defense overall this season, but Reid has historically cooked them — he dropped 25 points (8-11 FG, 5-7 from three) in 32 minutes the last time these teams met back in January. His ability to stretch the floor with 3s, attack mismatches in the paint, and run the floor in transition gives him a real edge against the Rockets’ bigs. Reid is averaging 13.7 PPG on the season, while playing 26 MPG as Minnesota’s spark plug. The key here is that Anthony Edwards is out and Ayo Dosunmou is illicit as questionable so this opens up even more usage for Naz. Even with some quieter recent outings (11 vs BOS, 11 vs PHX, 6 vs OKC), he’s cleared 12.5 in plenty of games when the minutes and shots are there — and at home against a solid but not elite frontcourt, the volume should bounce back.
