Ohio vs. Miami (OH) Odds & Betting Predictions - February 14, 2026

Miami OH is now just 7 wins away from a perfect season and has a very real shot to pull it off with the rest of the MAC schedule. However, they also played one of the softest non-conference schedules in the country (on top of their easy MAC schedule), so they really haven’t been tested much all year. Their toughest conference game was against Akron, arguably the best team in the MAC, and they only won that one by 3 at home. Flip that game to the road and there’s a real chance we’re not even talking about an undefeated team right now. Not that Ohio is some great team, they aren’t, but this is a spot where Miami could start to feel a bit of internal pressure. It’s a Friday night, national TV, NFL now in offseason, NBA All-Star weekend, and even the Winter Olympics coverage is mostly tape-delayed anyway. This is one of the only real betting events on the board, so you’re likely going to see a lot of casual money piling onto the undefeated team and inflating this number a bit. We literally just saw this with the Patriots over the weekend. Strength of schedule matters when a team finally faces something resembling real resistance. Miami OH can absolutely finish the season undefeated, and they probably do, but they’ve benefited from their schedule all year and are a bit overrated because of it. I won’t be shocked if they win comfortably, but winning and covering 8.5 are two very different things. This feels like a game where Ohio can hang around, keep some pressure on them in front of a national audience, and Miami still gets the win while falling short of that 9+ margin.
