The Rays put out a significantly worse lineup than expected with Misner in the 7 spot (38% K chances his first PA and their lineup is +3% K% higher than their projected lineup from earlier. I’m much more in line with ERod’s initial prop and his updated Priority Score dropped way below 17. I’m going to buy out some on his over 4.5 since I’m projecting it closer to -175 and I still have his most likely outcome with 5 Ks exactly (20%) so not a bad spot to middle but I think it’s necessary with the Rays official lineup killing a ton of the edge.

Tampa can’t elevate – E-Rod’s 3.00 GB/FB rate keeps ball down. Rays lack punch in this matchup. Bradley shaky, but Rays bullpen elite – 2.17 ERA, 1.07 WHIP last 29 IP. Even if he struggles, pen picks him up. D-backs pen just as hot – 2.84 ERA, 0.95 WHIP in last 25.1 IP. Both sides tough late. Under trends strong – Rays 34-16-1 to Under in last 51 road. Diamondbacks solid but not explosive at Chase. Rays hold foes to .232 BA, 3.66 team ERA. Add both bullpens and Tampa’s weak road splits – expect a tight, low-scoring grind.

ERod has been consistently commanding better than Bradley this year - ARI 128/127/115 wRC+ Hm/v RHP/L7 days, TBR 70/86/79 (though small samples for the latter) - ARI def & base running edges too - they should be this price just for being home if all else were equal, but it's not.
