I'm with @VegasRefund and Dabbundo. Just can't shake the feeling we'll look back in 2 months in disbelief which team was favored here. Week 1 division underdogs 68% ATS. Road wk1 dogs <3 that missed the playoffs are 15-3 ATS. Eberflus 5-10 ATS as fav. Don't love GB run D but everything else says Pack.

Sorry Royal I still love you, Bears lose home opener

Dillon was 9/17 on this line last season, and had 32+ yards in 15/17. This was of course with Rodgers, with GB a pretty average 15th in run play%. Conventional thinking is that with Jordan Love, they will lean on the run game a bit more. Dillon had two of his four highest rushing totals against the Bears (93 and 61 yards). The Bears rush defense was awful last season (6th highest YPC allowed, and the third most RB rush yards allowed per game), and while they did beef up their personnel in the off-season (Edwards, Edmunds, Billings), they looked unimpressive in the preseason when the starters played, and with a bunch of new pieces, I think this unit starts as below-avg for week 1. Dillon has looked good this off-season, playing in each of the three preseason games. Aaron Jones still is RB1A, but Green Bay has always been cautious about his workload early in the season. It’s a tricky game to assess gamescript, but I’m seeing a clear path to a close game, which should keep the ground game in effect all four quarters for Green Bay.
