Their inconsistency at the plate is one of the most influential factors in expecting a lower-scoring game, especially considering their lack of production against solid pitchers. Bryan Woo has been an excellent performer, given how he has let in more than two runs only twice during his last seven starts, and through the same period, he now posts a fantastic 2.06 ERA and 0.85 WHIP over his past 24.2 innings. At the very least, consistency from Woo will go a long way against this strong Dodgers lineup which, coupled with Freeman potentially not playing in the game, means a low-scoring outcome. On the other side, Gavin Stone may not be a household name, but he has shown promise, particularly against Seattle's current lineup, which has struggled against him and slashes just .231/.286/.538 in 13 at bats. Pair that with the fact that Los Angeles sports quite a formidable bullpen, ranking seventh in ERA at 3.63 and third in WHIP at 1.19, which should be able to hold the Mariners in check late in the game. The bullpen for Seattle also has an appeal to the under, ranking 14th in ERA at 3.91 and seventh in WHIP at 1.20, indicating it's likely that both bullpens will limit scoring opportunities in later innings. Trends historically also support the under, as six of the past eight between these two teams went for fewer than nine runs. With both starters in good form and the strong bullpen support behind them, this game doesn't seem to turn into a slugfest.

Woo is over this line in 9 of 14 starts including 3 straight games going into the 7th inning. He was dealing with a hamstring issue that he appears to have gotten through. His walks line is set to u1.5 and he has been under in 13 of 14 starts this year. His hits line is set to u5.5 and he has been under in 13 of 14 starts this year. This Dodgers lineup as you know can be so up and down and we are just asking for him to make it into the 6th and get 1 out. No Freeman this Dodgers lineup isn't the same without him.
