I've been eyeing the F5 for this game and I'll finally bite. The Orioles have been one of the worst teams this season against LHP, ranking 28th in team wRC+ at 77. Kyle Freeland isn't good but he has slightly outperformed his 5.19 ERA with a 4.87 xERA. It's not that I trust Freeland, but I like the matchup enough with him being a lefty. On the other side, the Rockies just traded Ryan McMahon to the Yankees so that takes one solid bat out of the lineup. Dean Kremer has also slightly outperformed his 4.06 ERA with a 3.98 xERA. I'll back both pitchers on Friday to do enough to slow down these offenses for the first half of the game.
