Cavaliers vs. Celtics Odds & Betting Predictions - May 15, 2024

Jayson Tatum has been cooking lately, reaching back to back games of 25 FGA, but even with the volume, a key rotation change for the Cavaliers defense has me wanting to sell high. With both Caris LeVert and Donovan Mitchell OUT, coach Bickerstaff is opting to go bigger, turning to 6'9" Dean Wade to take their place in the starting lineup. In his last game, he was on a limited playing time of 24 minutes off the bench, but I see that going to 30+ in the start. Wade will be used for his length in Isolation on Tatum (98-percentile defender) on drives. During Game 4, Wade was the primary defender off the bench (54.8% of playing time) and Tatum went 0-4 FG when being matched up. And if the Celtics look to switch off him, Evan Mobley can add another layer with his height to prevent drive success. Wade was seen post game interviewing how he can go into tonight with a better plan in defending Tatum, and he acknowledged if will have to come with secondary defenders making shots tougher on drives.
