This is an excellent scheme-driven matchup designed to target a 3PT prop. Wiggins has logged 8, 8, and 6 three-point attempts in his last three meetings with Boston as a member of Miami. Under Joe Mazzulla, the Celtics load the paint early, tag rollers, and prioritize removing rim attempts and free throws, willingly conceding kick-outs instead. Those help rules consistently leave the weak-side wing available, a shot Boston is comfortable giving up to Wiggins rather than allowing Powell or Adebayo to generate pressure inside. The Heat face off against the Boston Celtics on Friday and I’ll be targeting Bam Adebayo in this spot. Bam had a bit of a scoring lull a month and a half ago but that’s regulated a bit over the last few weeks. He’s been a consistent option for Miami averaging 20.7 ppg over his last 10. Notably, three of those games were against the Bulls who just shipped Nikola Vucevic off to the Celtics to be a primary big for them. Vooch is not a great defensive presence and when you couple that with Boston’s relative lack of Center depth, I can see this going well for Bam. Bam has scored 16 and 22 points against Boston already this season and I like the spot tonight considering his form of late.
