Spurs still remain fully healthy. Last game vs. MIN, Barnes took advantage of his matchup often left alone and being defending by 6’0” Mike Conley and 6’4” Donte DiVincenzo. Because of his sharpshooting on an ultra efficient 24 points on 89% FG, I believe that rewarded him more run than normal. He played 34 minutes last game, but in the five prior played 18, 22, 20, 17, & 22 minutes. Assuming he sees at most 24 minutes tonight, he averages 5.6 PPG and goes under in 10 of 11 games. Also helps he scored 4 points in the previous meeting vs. the Clippers, a team who defends the ATB at the 8th best rate, and limit catch & shoot 3s at the fifth lowest rate L10 games (39.3% of his PTS). #PlayerProps

THE BOUNCE 📽️: 13.68 PR's Jones should see 20+ mins tonight and when he sees 20+, he's cleared this mark in his last 6 games with 14, 20, 15, 9, 16 and 19 PR's. I'm s little surprised this line didn't at least open at 11.5. SAS is a middling matchup for points allowed, but do allow the 7th most rebounds per game, while ranking 20th in effective FG% (53.5%). SAS also allows the most rebounds to opposing SF's per game this season.

The Clippers face off against the Spurs to close out 2024 and one player that has been scorching hot is Norman Powell. Powell is averaging 24.6 points per game this season but over his last 10 he’s up to 26.7 ppg going over this line in 8/10. The Spurs have surrendered some monster games to Wings lately as well, with Donte DiVincenzo (26), Mikal Bridges (41), Sharron Sharpe (25), and De’Andre Hunter (27) all going off and clearing their lines against them over the past couple weeks. Powell simply has too much Usage and is being leaned on as a primary scoring threat for the Clippers to pass up this spot. Plus, it may be one of Powell’s last games to show out before Kawhi Leonard returns in early January.
