I thought it was a coincidence but this year he still averages significantly more points on Tuesdays. He has gone over 9 Tuesdays in a row. But that’s not enough to take it. I was pushed over the edge when I saw he is 14-5 to the over when coming off a game the night before

Per RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Trae Young has seen a decline in his assist and scoring rates when Zaccharie Risacher, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Jalen Johnson have been off the court. Young’s per-36 minute averages with those three out have been 20.39 points and 9.58 assists (good for a 29.97 PA average), and I have Young projected around 36 minutes for this game. It’s also a tough matchup against the Rockets, who rank 4th in defensive rating, allow the 5th fewest points per game (108.4) and allow the 2nd fewest assists per game (22.7).

The Huddle got it first Tougher matchup here against the Rockets but I still like his Usage and scoring when playing alongside of Trae and without Jalen Johnson. Now we have no Bogdanovic either so he should see a few extra minutes. When Vit plays alongside of Trae he also sees a jump of about 3 points per 100 possessions which is about 25% with Trae vs without him. This helps explain the dud yesterday. I’ll grab over 8.5 points and 9.5 is also playable
