Hubbard has logged 16+ rushing attempts in three of his last four games, including a season-high 26 carries against Philadelphia—despite playing in negative game scripts throughout those contests. This week, Carolina has a realistic chance to play from ahead against a banged-up Dallas team, setting up a favorable rushing environment. Dallas’ run defense has struggled mightily, ranking 30th per PFF. They allow the third-most rushing yards per game (141.9), the fourth-highest yards per carry (4.82), and the fourth-highest explosive run rate (6.4%). They’ve also allowed the highest rushing touchdown rate (5.5%) and have the third-lowest stuff rate (36.8%), meaning opposing rushers consistently gain yards past the line of scrimmage. While Dallas has shown some improvement defensively, their offense struggles to sustain drives, leaving their defense exposed. Hubbard’s projected workload combined with this favorable matchup makes the over on 82.5 rushing yards a strong play. If he approaches 18+ carries as expected, he should comfortably surpass this line.

Talked about this when the Panthers were -1.5 this morning. They're now out to -2.5, so going to take the ML, instead. I have only a slight upgrade in for the Panthers' due to their offensive gains, and even if I take that out, they'd still be favored by more than a point for me.
